Lessons I Learned From Video Games by Chris Gerringer
Contrary to popular belief, video games are not teaching kids to go out and violently axe murder their school teacher. But it has taught us when to strafe, to pay attention to environmental puzzles, and to immediately determine if a newfound item is going to be pertinent to our quest. Gaming art Black Belt Chris has illustrated some of the Golden Rules we’ve all picked up from a game or three.

Hope is what gives birth to our dreams. Faith and fears is what fuels our actions or causes the death of it. Our body is the forefront that protects us from exposing what’s on the inside. Everyone’s afraid of the unknown. We just want to live in peace without anyone intruding into our world. All people are the same. Especially the ones that pretend to be good or the ones that appear to be bad. Its our heart that keep us sane from giving into the madness but its our mind that creates conflict from what will form order or bring chaos. Its love and hate that gives life to our soul <3
We’re all slaves to our emotions but you’re the only one that has real control over it. Know your flaws and weakness to make u a stronger and better person than letting things get the best of you. Being under pressure and being out of your comfort zone helps u learn and grow. The world and time keeps moving forward so should you and never look back, never let anything stop you or get in your way. There are villains and demons that try to drive you into the darkness but let the light shine through, in your world your always the brightest star and in the end the only hero you need is yourself. Things will get better just gotta believe, hope and faith are always your best friends and dreams is what keeps us going in life! Live, laugh and smile! ♥
